This old home is classic americana, according to the local newspaper, The Mail Tribune, the house was built in 1870 by Civil War veteran Marvin Sylvester Wood. This photograph was taken in the summer of 2005. At the time this photo was taken the house was the property of the Southern Oregon Historical Society.
